We are looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Equipment Mechanic to help keep our
equipment, vehicles, and tools operating safely and efficiently. This position works alongside our
Maintenance Lead and Production Manager to support the crews that build our projects every
day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain & Repair Equipment
● Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on construction equipment, fleet
vehicles, trailers, and support equipment.
● Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
● Maintain power equipment including small engines, generators, compressors, concrete
equipment, and hand tools.
● Conduct routine inspections to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
Fabrication & Shop Support
● Assist with light welding and fabrication projects.
● Help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient maintenance shop.
● Contribute to improving preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
Support Field Operations
● Transport equipment between the shop and job sites as needed.
● Earn a company-paid CDL to expand your skills and support field operations.
● Pitch in on special projects that help keep Meyer Building running efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Mechanical aptitude with experience working on small engines.
● Beginner to intermediate welding and fabrication skills.
● Experience with construction equipment, trailers, or fleet vehicles is preferred.
● Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems using sound troubleshooting skills.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS
● Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be at least 25 years old due to
insurance requirements
● Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Meyer Building will cover the
cost of CDL training as applicable.
● Ability to safely lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull throughout the
workday. Must pass a pre-employment DOT physical.
